 CAUTION 

The belt tensioner is spring-loaded and must be pivoted away from the drive belt. Pivoting in the wrong direction can result in damage to the belt tensioner.

Loosen the capscrews before removing the belt.

Using a 3/8-inch square drive, pivot and hold the tensioner to relieve the belt tension, and remove the belt.

Remove the four capscrews, fan, and spacer.

Remove the four capscrews, fan, and spacer.

Remove the fan pulley.

Inspect for Reuse

Inspect the fan pulley for cracks near the bolt holes. Replace as necessary.

Check for cracks, loose rivets, and bent or loose blades. If any damage in found replace the fan.

Install

TOC

Install the spacer, fan, and capscrews.

Tighten the capscrews.

Torque Value:  24  n.m  [18 ft-lb]

Using a 3/8-inch square drive, pivot and hold the tensioner and install the belt, and release the tensioner.
