Use the display panel to check for any fault codes.

Remove the two harness connectors from the ECM.

Refer to the engine diagrams in Procedure 100-002 for the component location.

Remove the capscrew and wire clamp for the wiring harness. Move to one side.

Remove the three mounting capscrews and the ECM.

Install

Install the ECM. Tighten the mounting capscrews.

Torque Value:  20  n.m  [15 ft-lb]

Install wire harness clamp and capscrew.

Torque Value:  20  n.m  [15 ft-lb]

 CAUTION 

Do not blow compressed air into the ECM ports or connectors. Compressed air can contain moisture due to condensation.

Use quick-dry electrical contact cleaner, Part Number 3824510, to remove all dirt and moisture from the ECM connector ports and the harness connectors.

Connect the two harness connectors to the ECM. Tighten the connector capscrews to the ECM.

Torque Value:  3  n.m  [27 in-lb]
